A new home in North Vancouver for a bustiling family of 6, built by Naikoon Contracting, a leader in green building expertise. The design brief called for a minimalist and hard wearing home utilizing industrial and recycled materials. Home uses approx. half the energy of typical code built new home with extra insulation in the roofs and walls, triple pane glazing in all windows and doors, airtight construction and efficient mechanical systems. Low energy fictures are used through out the home. Non-toxic and natural finishes are used through out to limit effects of chemical sensitivities.
